WEIDENHUGEL: German Wirehaired Pointers
Welcome to the Weidenhugel Home Page!
Weidenbach Kennels, home of Weidenhugel German Wirehaired Pointers, has produced titled Wirehairs since 1969: Bench Champions, Field Titles (a Dual Champion; Master Hunters, Senior Hunters and Junior Hunters, as well as a variety of NAVHDA prizes), and Companion Dogs. At present, there are 8 dogs at our kennel.
The resident adult dogs are Bench Champions; the pups have begun their work in the show ring.
The majority of our pups go to hunting homes, and have proven to be solid successes in the field; highly biddable, enthusiastic hunters.
All breeding stock is hip X-rayed (OFA certified).
In addition to pups, occasionally we have an adult dog for sale.

CH Weidenhugel Dirk V Vic [Call name: 'Doc'] (OFA Excellent; Thyroid Normal)
'Doc' holds both an AKC and an International Bench Championship. He has produced several Bench Champions, as well as a Master Hunter in his various litters. DOB: 08/14/01
CH Weidenhugel Tim V Kyoko (OFA Good)Tim is a son of Amer/Aust CH Weidenhugel Kyoko V Victor MH and CH Weidenhugel Zuni V Einer. DOB: 10/13/04. Tim recently completed his Bench Championship, and is now working in the field. His current focus is tracking.
IABCA INT CH Weidenhugel Yankee V Kyoko (OFA Pending)
Yankee is also a son of Amer/Aust CH Weidenhugel Kyoko V Victor MH, out of CH Weidenhugel Gypsy V Yoda. Yankee strongly displays the intensity and bird sense of his sire. He has had limited showing, and needs only a single Major to complete his Bench Championship.
Weidenhugel Waldo V Kyoko (OFA Excellent)
Waldo is from the first Ky--Gypsy litter (Amer/Aust CH Weidenhugel Kyoko V Victor MH X CH Weidenhugel Gypsy V Yoda). He is extremely 'quiet' on his feet, almost imperceptible, as he approaches birds. DOB: 5/10/05.

CH Weidenhugel Einer V Pilot (OFA Good)
Einer produced 20 titled get: 12 Bench Champions and 3 Master Hunters, as well as Junior Hunters and titled Companion Dogs.
AM / AUST CH Weidenhugel Kyoko V Victor MH NAVHDA NA I, (OFA Good) A Champion on two continents. Ky is upholding the promise shown as the 2002 winner of his class in the National Futurity in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Ky produced three United States litters. His pups are extremely good-looking and appear to have inherited his 'bird sense' and hunting drive.
